Description
"Donde Me hallo" is an experimental short film written and directed by Maite Bermudez, about actor and firefighter Emilio Buale.
Through his everyday and intimate spaces, Emilio reflects on who he is, where he stands, and what he dreams of. The contrast between his two lives dissolves into fragility, stillness, and reverie—chameleon-like strategies of survival when the skin cannot change color.
For all of the designs, I aimed for clean typefaces, strong color contrast, and a silkscreen-inspired aesthetic to introduce texture and visual depth. I applied a subtle grain to the title to better integrate it with the overall layout and create a cohesive visual unit.
I selected a still image of the film’s main character and paired it with a grain-textured black background to amplify the themes of isolation and disorientation present in the narrative.
